The Media Strikes Again
The following is the honest report of a police shooting in Kenosha,WI.
BLANK
This report really should not be on national news. Is it a tragedy? Yes, in so many ways. But it is not national news because it is not actually something that affects the nation. Sometimes we get national news because the case is especially egregious or terrible, that is not the case here either. No, far from it. What we have here is a narrative being spun in order to manipulate the people.
If you have been listening to some of the honest journalists you already know most of this. Black men are not being hunted down by police. In fact, they are in slightly less danger of being killed than white men. So that whole thing should have nothing to do with race. The violence between police and criminals might be worth looking at, but not in the context of race. What we do know is that as soon as the media and Democrat mayors started crippling their police, crime and murder skyrocketed. How can anyone think that is a coincidence?
Let me explain something to you. In case you know nothing of the criminal world. Criminals want to do bad things and get away with them. When faced with severe consequences they will often have severe reactions. Many police and bystanders have been killed in such altercations. Criminals do not actually believe the narrative that media is spinning. I will give you an example. Before medical marijuana the media kept saying that police wanted to lock up pot smokers because it was easy. The problem is, police do not make the laws. It was a much deeper and more insidious story. The crime leaders were all lobbying against passing medical marijuana, because they did not want it to infringe on their business. They were pretty sure it would mean great profit losses. I will admit those legislators in Idaho are just old and foolish, but that's an outlier.
Let's say you are a deer, but you are smart. You know it is hunting season. You also know that all of the valley by the river is where the hunters set up. You are going to avoid the valley by the river at all costs. If criminals believed they were being hunted, that the biggest danger to them was police, then they would stop committing crime. Or at least they would stop resisting arrest. But that is not what they are thinking. They are focused on continuing in their criminal life.
The other thing we need to realize is how insanely fast these situations move. Ask any police officer or military member. When life is on the line, things move fast. You have to make split second decisions. I remember being at a training. They were training us to avoid suicide bombers. But we can't just shoot any civilian who walks up. After some tense situations of civilians passing through our checkpoint, this group comes up. I look at this one lady, she looks off somehow. We start getting the group through, but she hung back. She walks up and starts yelling. Our translator is trying, but its all so fast. One of my guys approaches as two of us point our weapons at her. But it's all too late. Boom, chalk everywhere. Thank the Lord it was only chalk. We estimate we would have lost six soldiers that day.
Now think about this situation in WI. He is fleeing. He is not running, but it happens fast. He is heading back to his car. Imagine being the police. There is a good chance this man is violent and dangerous. He is a criminal. As he turns around the front of the car, what would you be thinking? He might get in and try to drive, endangering civilians and his children in the car. He might pull out a weapon or gun, again endangering everyone. If he gets there and pulls a gun, lives can be lost real fast. They are trying to stop him, but he keeps going. Shots fired. In that split second though, he is still pulling towards the car. More shots fired. And its over. Are they in the right or wrong, that is for the experts. All I am saying is these are intense and complicated situations.
For our media to instantly broadcast and condemn our police is horrendous. We have due process and investigations for a reason. Things are not always as they seem. One thing we might ask for is more transparency in investigations. But this act of openly condemning police every time a black man gets shot is terrible. We have to stop it. If we continue on this path we could be living in a dangerous world. Think about it.
What if next year criminals do not have police to stop them. They can come to your home with guns and do whatever they want. If you think there won't be a lot of evil perpetrated, then you are a fool. Criminals will do terrible things. We will be left with a kill or be killed world. Read about some history, times when the law didn't do a very good job. It is time we end this charade. Yes, please prosecute any police officer that does wrong. But we have to deny this narrative. They are #antijournalists. And they are failing us.
